CamSur PESO brings local and overseas job opportunities in Rinconada Area
The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur through CamSur Public Employment Services Office (PESO), in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) Nabua Campus, brought the Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan Job and Business Fair last April 10-11, 2019 at the CSPC Gymnasium, Nabua, Camarines Sur.

The two-day job and business fair is the second school-based fair conducted this year that provided local and overseas employment opportunities as well as government agency’s services not just to the fresh graduates but also to the alumni community and job seekers residing in the Rinconada area. There were over 1,300 local and overseas job vacancies offered. A total of 1,089 registrants attended the said event and 154 of them were fortunately hired on the spot.

“We changed the format of the job fair this year. I strived more for our graduates to have a better career opportunity and urged them to visit all of the invited companies and government agencies present at the job fair. May this be a life-changing day and a start of a new journey to those who were hired,” said Ms. Leny Figuracion, the CSPC Guidance Services Head.

Moreover, she emphasized the significance of school-based job and business fairs which provide not just opportunity for graduates to immediately get a job but also to help them boost their confidence and train them in facing real-life challenges in employment such as applying for a job, going for interviews and getting hired. It also made them more knowledgeable of the services they could avail in government agencies such as Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG Fund which will be beneficial to each one of them.

The Trabaho, Negosyo , Kabuhayan Job and Business Fair is a program of DOLE implemented by CamSur PESO through conducting community-based and school-based job and business fairs. Upcoming community-based job fairs will be conducted in Minalabac on April 26, 2019 and in San Fernando on April 29, 2019.
